Akal Mobile Van Counselling Service – Punjab & Chandigarh (Launched 2025)

This mobile outreach unit delivers psychosocial support directly to rural and underserved communities. Staffed by trained professionals, the van travels village to village, providing real-time counselling and educational sessions.

Through street theatre, group therapy, and interactive tools, the project breaks stigma and builds awareness where traditional mental health services are often unavailable.

On-the-Ground Impact:

Reached 100+ villages across Punjab and Chandigarh

Conducted free group and family counselling sessions

Staged street plays (Nukkad Nataks) led by academy and university students for awareness and destigmatisation

A Unified Approach to Recovery, Growth, and Transformation

These departments work together to form a comprehensive system addressing every dimension of addiction—from root causes to long-term recovery and social reintegration. They embody the depth of Dr (Col) Rajinder Singh’s vision: to not only fight addiction, but to build resilient, self-aware, and empowered communities across Punjab and beyond.
